Thank you to all the friends & neighbors who came out on Oct 22nd, 2022 to show support for Dean, after his devastating house fire. Dean received some wonderful Lime Rock memorabilia & kitchen essentials. Also, almost $1500 was raised for the Lakeville Hose & Salisbury Ambulance.

Just as important was the moral support Dean received from a wonderful night of good company, good food, good music, good drinks and good magic! With the help of the Trinity Church, Lime Rock Park, LRCC, RPM Agency, Litchfield Distillery, 2 Guys in Suits & Ties and a lot of neighbors, we had a night to remember! Good luck to Dean on the long road to his house rebuilding!

Let's Party for Dean!

This party for our friend and neighbor, Dean, is also a party for the entire Lime Rock community!

Join us on October 22 from 6-10pm at the Historic Lime Rock Casino 418 Lime Rock Rd, Lakeville, CT 06039. Once the entertainment center for the Lime Rock area, it will again transform into a carnival like festival with good music, good food and good company. Watch for samples of Litchfield Distillery’s best, as well as Woodbury Brewery’s finest brews.

Enjoy a glass of wine or beer on Dean, as well as yummy appetizers and desserts, while visiting with familiar faces, and chatting with new, soon to be old, friends.

Dean lost his entire home and furnishings in the fire, including his well equipped kitchen and a lifetime of racing memorabilia. He loved his kitchen and when he was not working as a professional driving instructor, you could find him in the kitchen! To help him with the monumental task of refitting his home, consider bringing a kitchen essential or Lime Rock memorabilia to help him start re-building.

Or, consider filling “The Boot” for the Lakeville Hose Company; our local hero’s who led the fire brigade to contain the devastating flames from spreading.

The party will transition outdoors onto the bandstand where, another neighbor and his band “Two Guys in Suits & Ties” will present a rocking performance. Stay warm sipping ‘Hot Toddy’s’ while dancing to the Rock ‘n’ Roll era fun!!

PARKING: Watch for “NO PARKING” and “PARK HERE!” signs throughout the neighborhood. We will have a shuttle running up and down the road if you don’t want to walk. There is no parking at the Casino 418 Lime Rock Rd, but The Trinity Church, The Painted Lady at 462 Lime Rock Rd, and Wildlife Refuge at 442 Lime Rock Rd have graciously offered their properties for parking. Please let us know if you require handicapped access, as the Casino Theater is on the 2nd floor.

Help for this event was provided by: The Trinity Church , Lime Rock Park, The RPM Agency, Litchfield Distillery, Woodbury Brewery, Lime Rock Citizens Council and lots of wonderful neighbors, including Dean!
